Comments about Hobie Mirage Outback Kayak 2011:

I have used the Outback many times and everytime I find something else I like about it. It is wider than the other hobies and thats great if you want that stability for comfort or fishing. With the mirage drive you can pedel anywhere with ease and speed. For fishing you have your hands free to cast. I just set my course with the rudder and give a couple kicks with the peddles and I can coast along the shore for fish. Hobie is really on to something with the Mirage Drive

Mirage outback, fun kayak

Comments about Hobie Mirage Outback Kayak 2011:

I've only used it once, but it was a blast. I went up a river against the flow. It was a windy day, so there were small waves, and wind to go against. I moved quickly. The pedal mirage drive propelled the boat rapidly. I've never used a kayak with a rudder either, steering was effortless.
