I paddle on Cape Cod and a range of rivers. Because I have paddled canoes and kayaks in races, the larger blade was just what I needed to get all the power into a stroke. Great value!

I BOUGHT THIS PADDLE FOR A 2011 JACKSON COOSA ELITE. I TOOK IT OUT YESTERDAY FOR THE FIRST TIME AND LOVED IT. I CAN NOT IMAGINE USING A PADDLE SHORTER THAN 250CM FOR THIS BOAT. I PADDLED IN BOTH THE HIGH AND LOW SEAT POSITIONS AND IT FELT GREAT. THE SHAFT FELT A LITTLE ABRASIVE ON MY HANDS COMPARED TO MY WIFE'S HARMONY PADDLE, BUT THAT WAS PROBABLY DUE TO ME BEING A ROOKIE KAYAKER.
